How was the program (Books and Dvds) distribution initiated at first?
After September 11, 2001 it was made painfully aware that there are misconceptions about Islam which needed to be corrected.

Where are the area of distribution?
Australia wide

How are the free sources distributed?
The booklets are sourced (both within and outside Australia) and then shipped to Melbourne where the online orders are matched with the requested literature and then posted.

How is the fund for free sources distribution derived? Is there any fund raising or such activity run to support this program?
Funds are raised from brothers and sisters in Australia through local networks.

Who are the targeted object for this distribution, non muslim only or both non muslim and muslim?
Although dawah is primarily seen as sharing Islam with non-Muslims, the fact is the orders we receive are 50/50, Muslim and non-Muslim.  Islam is very often inherited but not in truth always embraced. I get many orders from those born into 'Muslim' families which never in fact practiced Islam.  They do not know how to pray or even know the articles of faith. When these brothers and sisters approach the local masjid for assistance they are often told that 'they should know' and leave feeling humiliated.  One brother recently told me that it wasn't until he came to the 'western world' that he truly embraced Islam (b.t.w. this comment is so common!).  His choice to truly seek Islam was due to being asked about Islam and having no real answer to the questions about it.  He realized he had never even thought about it, he said when you live in a Muslim majority country your faith is not really tested by others.  If you said you were Muslim they would just accept that.  It is also true of 'Christians' in Australia.  Many are in fact inherited Christians and often have no connection to church or a deep understanding of their 'religion'.  If people respond they are Christian then people just accept that, no test required.  As a result of being comfortable with just inheriting religion we have generations of people ignorant of the teachings of the religion in which they claim to belong. This leads to massive misunderstanding and cultural contamination.

This is why helping our brothers and sisters discover Islam is so vital.

How many sources has been distributed so far? (Maybe monthly or annually)
Around 300 a year via our website and about 90 via Gumtree

What is the ultimate goal for this program?
To please Allah (SWT), and share the treasure that is Islam.
