Living and growing up in very western culture, in Britain, does not block John Fountain to learn anything, including Islam. He is now one of well-known British Muslim Revert who loves to share his life journey to the world. He travels a lot to gain new experience and feel living as Muslim in different countries.
John Fountain's Life before Converting to Islam
Born and raised as a Christian. Manchaster is his origin. Never believing that Christianity as the right way of life, he slowly left the rituals and once thought that religion was just a man made.
During his teenage, he spent his days as a musician, Jazz singer. He reached the popularity, wealth, and some other belongings but happiness. He felt something missing deep inside the heart.
How was John Fountain's Journey to be Muslim?
One day, he had a business with a Muslim in Africa, visited Senegal and Sierra Leone. During the visit, he came to know that Muslims were very nice and warm far from what media has been portraying all these long. Living in the environment, he knew gradually about the teaching of Islam and even fasted in the Ramadhan.
He was then eager to know more about the concept and wanted to pray, but he still didn't know that to perform the prayer, ones have to declare the shahadah. Eventually, he took the declaration of faith in 2008, alhamdulillah.
What is John Fountain's Activity after His Conversion to Islam?
He is now one of the significant Muslim preachers in UK. Often, he does da'wah street in Manchaster also has visited more than 50 countries during his life time, Mashaa Allah.
