Weekend Class for Muslim Children in Sydney

Muslim Children Learning to Pray
Kids learning to pray in jamaah (congregational prayer) 'Well kids, listen!
Straight your line, join feet to feet, and shoulder to shoulder.' They listened while looking at teachers' example. 'Great!' See some of them made a big gap for trying to reach their friends' feet. Hihihi

This is indeed one of dilemmas performing jamaah in our society. It is often difficult to adjoin your feet to people standing between you.
Meanwhile, it is narrated by Bukhaari (683), may Allah have mercy on him, from Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: 'Make your rows straight for I can see you from behind my back.'
Anas said: 'so each of us would stand with his shoulder against his neighbor's shoulder and his foot against his foot.'
In conclusion, that was how our Prophet performed the salah--this is the sunnah. Also, making the row straight, standing shoulder to shoulder, and joining feet to feet are parts of the perfection of salah.
